I have gravitated towards Art since I first remember opening my eyes. Since then, I have been looking wide eyed at the world. In high school, the only classes that resonated with me were the creatives: Art and Writing. In college, I traveled to China, Paris and New York to study Art. I took every Art class offered at 4 colleges....some of them more then once for fun. I am obsessed with transforming my visual world to reflect what I see with all my senses.
My favorite mediums are charcoal, India ink, watercolor and anything messy and exciting.
My inspiration comes from interesting texture, unique and vibrant colors, painful experiences, mental health and meditation. It’s a way for me to communicate what I feel when words cannot. The zen of getting lost in art is my saving grace.
